Opening Day Barlestone are back Barlestone St Giles announced their return to the senior league with a 6-0 defeat of Earl Shilton Albion after Elliott Smith led the line with a brace and Lutterworth Athletic showed they are going to be a force to be reckoned with after a 2-4 away win at Ravenstone, Luke Pontin hitting a double. Anstey Town returned from FC Khalsa as 0-3 away winners whilst newcomers Evington FC netted 2 late goals to return a similar score at Hathern. Narborough and Littlethorpe posted an away win at Lutterworth Town 1-2, and Sileby Town eased past Dunton and Broughton Rangers 1-0. FC Dynamo nicked a point in a 4-4 draw at Friar Lane and Epworth Res after a Sam Foglia double had given the Lane a 2 goal advantage. A double from Ryan Page allowed the Dynamo to rescue a point with 2 late goals. Information supplied by senior league website.
