| Club History | LEFC - the beginning of a legend The club was founded in 2002 as a 5-a-side team at Goals Leicester under the name 'Echos FC' by Simon Morley, Chris 'Evs' Evans and Max Westerman, who were all looking for a way of getting some regular football in. The club's name was a reference to a favourite stomping ground of Evs, Max and Simon. The club founders soon realised that three players wasn't enough for a 5-a-side team, so the services of Rob Browell, Nam '10 names' Nijjar Adam Hughes and the Lawrence brothers; Neil and Wayne were drafted in. The team first took to the pitch on Wed 3 December 2003, with the original line up being Max, Si, Neil, Wayne, Adam, Rob and Nam (unfortunately Evs decided to drop out of the team due to work commitments) and ran out with a 6-3 victory over Real FC.
