In a potentially explosive cup tie, Ashley Oswin scores the first of what would prove to be an avalanche of Polska goals. Unlucky not to get a hat trick, he nevertheless announces his arrival with a great performance. For once, Rys doesn't even moan about coming on as sub, so hypnotised is he by Ashley's blonde girlfriend on the touchline, who almost creates as much interest as Ash himself. She will never know just how much danger she was in, being just a few feet away from Rys on the touchline, and afterwards Rys complains that the midges of Knighton Park bit him all over his legs and have left him swollen - well, they do say these mites feed on blood and we all wonder just which part of his anatomy contained the most blood - he nearly had someones eye out with it, that's all we're saying.

So Moody Matt Buckley returned to haunt his old team mates, but we had the better tottie on the day.
