Polska's first game of 2001 kicks off at 11am as the ref gives time for the pitch to thaw out - good news for the big drinkers at the club who get an extra half hour to recover from Saturday night. Birstall take the lead on 29 minutes the cheeky blighters but a quick fire double from Butch and Ash on 42 and 45 minutes leave the home side reeling at half time. Butch then kills the game off on 56 minutes, and this win puts Polska top of the league.
