Season 2001-02

An infamous match in that Polska take the lead 3 times, only for The Charny to come storming back, and Dean Hall's goalkeeping being the subject of much scrutiny. This is actually a strong Polska team, and when Steve Whait puts the reds 1-0 up it finally looks as though Polska will overcome their Charny hoodoo. But Hall throws in a nightmare of a performance, and The Charny eventually run out the unlikeliest of winners. This game actually becomes Polska's warm up game before the final, (although no-one knows it at the time) and Andy Zarzycki does his chances of starting in the final no favours by turning up here at half time when he was supposed to be starting in favour of Butch to stake his starting claim for Holmes Park!
