Season 1996-97

Polska give The Manchester and big 'Tommo' a pasting in a one sided Presidents Cup match, Pete Airey scoring twice, with Griff and Moody Matt Buckley also getting on the score sheet. Big Tommo does indeed find the net for the Mancs, but his best contribution during the game is threatening the Zarzycki boys, which leads to them allegedly locking themselves in their mothers car for protection! All rumour of course, but the story has done the rounds as part of Polska folklore (well, Rys always brings the subject up).
