Season 1996-97

After the controversy of the first game, Polska's trip to KPE is expected to be a nasty bad tempered affair. Mark Whait arrives at the ground under armed guard, having received death threats, but laughs them off by running the line instead. KPE race into a cosy 2-0 first half lead, only for Matt Buckley to put a 72nd minute penalty over the bar and into orbit. This win for KPE would prove to be the catalyst for them to storm to the league title, whilst Polska would wither away badly.
