 Match Report

It's the right time of the year for handing out cards, and referee Clive Bruce did just that as four players saw red in what marred a comfortable 6-1 Polska victory.

Polska were always in control, especially after skipper Adam Dyke put the hosts ahead after just 28 SECONDS. Polska then missed a hatful of chances before Mark Inglis doubled their advantage on 41 minutes. Chris Rudkin then scored a great goal following good work from Kyle Thomas and Dave Kendall, skipping through three challenges in the box before dinking the ball home to give Polska a 3-0 half time lead.

Dave Kendall was then controversially sent off in the 58th minute for a verbal altercation with the Magna linesman, but it made no difference to Polska who then went 4-0 up on 61 minutes thanks to another Mark Inglis strike. Inglis then stepped up to take a 64th minute penalty to get his second hat trick in as many weeks.

Rudkin then got his second on 75 minutes, but the game then flared up on 84 minutes as a mass brawl ensued, following an ugly overeaction to by a Magna player to a late challenge. Unfortunately for Polska, both Dyke brothers also saw red along with the Magna player, and with Polska down to 8 men, Magna got their consolation on 86 minutes.
