Season 2007-08

An understrength Leicester Polska side again lost out for the second match running to Premier Sports. With just a bare 11, Polska actually started the game brightly, and might have taken an early lead but for Chris Eames missing an early chance. And when Alex Harris opened the scoring for Premier on 19 minutes, it was actually against the run of play. However, Premier soon found their stride and by the 24th minute Jerome North goal and a 28th minute Harris second were 3-0 up and the game as a contest was over. Worse was to follow for Polska as they lost Chris Rudkin to an injury and conceded a fourth from Ashley Morris on 40 minutes. Polska showed some steel in the second half, forcing the Premier keeper into some stunning saves, but by the time Matt Baines had made it 6-0 with goals in the 79th and 83rd minutes, Polska were left to reflect on another unhappy afternoon.
