Season 1996-97

With Polska facing the only side left fighting to avoid the relegation spot still available (The Manchester and BT having already been relegated), this was a shocking collapse to a side once considered even worse then Polska. To be fair, Syston somehow amazingly secured the services of star player Dave Hollis. Make no mistake, this was a bit like Ronaldinho turning out for Macclesfield. Not even Andy Zarzycki's tipp-ex white boots could save the day.
