A much better effort from Polska with plenty of players missing. Terratruck opened the scoring first against the run of play on 7 minutes, before Savo Wieczorek scored from a Mark Inglis cross on 27 minutes. It was Savo's first goal for Polska since September 2007 when he bagged against Leicester Academicals. Terratruck then took the lead again on 41 minutes after a defensive error, and then it was another lapse at the back which gave them a 3-1 lead on 56 minutes. At this point, the impressive Alan Chater replaced Dave Kendall, and Polska got some impetus back, although with a makeshift backline they were always vulnerable to counter attacks and in fairness the hosts should have wrapped the game up after missing some good chances, although Polska keeper Podburalzynski played well. Savo then scored his 60th Polska goal 10 minutes from time to set up a grandstand finish, but it wasn't to be.
