Season 2009-10

A fine morning for football - I'm a big fan of global warning (although if my home suffers significant flood damage in the near future, then obviously I'm not). And a fine first half performance from the Polska as they stretch their defensive record to 48 minutes without conceding a goal, pretty good when you consider Polska concede on average every 16.5 minutes. It was a pretty even first half. Unfortunately the second half went pear shaped in the first minute when the Garage took the lead, and from then on it was pretty much one way traffic as the one of the stronger league teams made hay whilst the sun shone. But all credit to Polska, they continued to try hard, and the spirit and attitude is still good, rounded off by a Scott Morton corker on 87 minutes to give us some consolation.

Note to self: Buy the Ilnickis a f*****g alarm clock for Christmas
