Savo Wieczorek scored his 100th Polska goal in the most dramatic of circumstances - in the 94th minute as Polska chased a point against Magna Town, the game ending 1-1. Polska were the better side in the first half - Andzrej having just one proper save to make. Zdunek put his shot wide on just 50 seconds as he failed to convert a chance, and later on Dominic Krol was stunned as his huge goalbound shot somehow was kept out by the magnificence of Magna keeper Oscar Webb. The game threatened to boil over before half time as a couple of questionable Magna fouls on Polska players went unpunished (save for free kicks), but at the interval Polska were comfortable. Magna then caught Polska on the break on 60 minutes as Chris Weston made the most of a weak Polska defensive clearance to make it 1-0, although it has to be said 6 Polska players were caught upfront, without much evidence of tracking back. Karol Osipinski was then introduced on 67 minutes, which pushed Pzerwa upfront as Polska went 3 up top, and the tactic seemed to work. Despite thinking they had got away with the points, a Pzerwa throw on 94 minutes caused panic in the Magna box, and as Spider Pajak miscued an effort, Sav got on the end of it, for his landmark goal. Given that Polska really should have scored two goals either side of the break, a point was the least they deserved, but with Magna now failing to beat Polska in 5 outings, a point will suffice for both teams.
