LEICESTER POLSKA maintained their unbeaten start to the season, but had to come from behind after finding themselves 2-1 down in the first half. The hosts started very brightly, and for the first 20 minutes enjoyed most of the possession, and went forward well, with Sieczka and Wieczorek causing the Kilworth defence all manner of problems. Savo Wieczorek opened his account for the season on his first start, scoring on 8 minutes from a Max pass. Krol should have then made it 2-0, heading over from a Jarek pass. Max should then have scored at least twice with 4 chances coming his way in 5 minutes. Kilworth then equalised on 20 minutes, springing the Polska offisde trap as the hosts got caught in possession. And four minutes later, Kilworth went 2-1 in front after scoring direct from a corner. Kosiorek at least restored parity on 36 minutes after Sav pounced on a keeper error.

Mazurek replaced Wesolowski at half time, and then Rys Procinski replaced the injured Krogulec on 50 minutes. Mazurek then scored a terrific volleyed goal from a Max cross on 52 minutes to put Polska in front - his first ever goal and already a contender for goal of the season. Veteran Rys then grabbed his first goal since 1998 on 63 minutes when scuffling a Sav flick over the line from barely yards out. A Kosiorek cross was then turned into his own net by a Kilworth defender on 65 minutes as Polska went 5-2 up. Kilworth grabbed a consolation on 89 minutes but the result at this point was never in doubt.
