Leicester Polska won their first league game of 2015 - and their first since November 29 with a convincing victory over St Patricks. Polska dominated the first half possession but their movement both on the ball and off it was slow, and they only had around 5 off target shots to show for it, whilst St Patricks had two good chances - nearly opening the scoring when an unmarked player headed over the bar on 11 minutes from their first corner, whilst seeing a shot hit the post twenty minutes later. Savo then should have scored with the last kick of the half, but it was 0-0 at half time. Polska then stepped up a gear in the second half, and on 48 minutes Sav scored a headed goal from a Mazurek corner - his second in as many games, and his 10th goal of the season, putting him only 15 behind Tom Lane's all time scoring record, with 10 games this season still to play. The breakthough spurred Polska on and on 59 minutes, Dziopa scored from an indirect free kick after Mazurek had nudged the ball to him. It was Polska's 50th goal of the season. The one downside was to follow when on 67 minutes, both Krol and Cupal failed to deal with a St Patricks ball, and Spider advanced out of his goal to bring down the player. St Pats scored their penalty on 67 minutes - incredibly, the EIGHTH time this season Polska have conceded a spot kick - a club (unwanted) record! But it didn't stop the flow of Polska goals - and on 72 minutes Przerwa made it 3-1 from a Sav pass. This started a Polska blitz - a minute later Dobrzynski made it 4-1 from a Przerwa pass - getting his 6th goal of the season - then Przerwa himself managed to slot in on 75 minutes after Jarek had put the original cross in, getting his 7th goal of the season.
