A tough assignment away to D&G for the County Cup sees Polska soundly beaten. 3-0 down after 37 minutes, Savvo, still in his shiny clogs, pulls one back on 44 minutes, but it's only a consolation. With Robin Whait on holiday, the stand in management team of Rys Procinski and George Okuniewski scratch their heads at the break for answers - only for Rys to realise he's actually scratching his bold head to no avail. John Garden offers Polska some brief, bright hope in the second half with a quality display, but it's a day to forget.
