Season 2009-10

The game was over inside the opening 6 minutes as Polska conceded two early goals from which they never looked likely to recover. With GT putting long balls over the top of a looping surface, Polska never really got to grips with the uphill first half, but disappointingly they showed none of the battling qualities that brought them a victory last week. At 5-0 down at half time, they at least pulled themselves off the floor and gave a decent second half performance with a decent 54th minute goal from Alan Chater, and some good play from Rich Ellis, following on from his goal line clearance last week. Clearly with Savo skippering the side as it was his 100th league game, Polska were overconfident, thinking that by winning the toss, that wasn't all they were going to win. Rys Procinski was also cruelly denied another career appearance with the referee only playing 7 seconds of added on time.
