Season 1997-98

We have not yet mentioned the perils of being a goalkeeper. It is the loneliest position on the pitch. Everybody sees and remembers your mistakes, and today was no exception for Mr Pete Kidman. Mr Kidman resembled a 70s porn star, complete with huge moustache and the smallest shorts ever known to man. The question at the time was, Was it the fact that his shorts were so tight that made his two veg look so large, or did he genuinely possess a pair of basketballs? Surely the first one, as Mr Kidman failed to stop any of Cleansing's 7 goals in a poor showing that saw him 'rested' for 4 games after this.
