LEICESTER POLSKA progressed to the last 16 of the County Cup after an emphatic 7-2 win over Blaby Foxes in the pouring rain. Karol Osipinski opened the scoring on 9 minutes when his fairly soft shot seemed to fool everyone including Blaby keeper Steven Coffey who had a great game and kept the scoreline down to single figures. Foxes then equalised on 16 minutes when the Polska defence were caught square, before Lukasz Tabaka restored the lead on 27 minutes with a smart shot from inside the box. Savo Wieczorek then got on the end of a Maciek Wysoczanski effort to score on his 200th appearance on 42 minutes. Maciek Wiesniewski then made it 4-1 in the first minute of the second half after using great pace wide right to get on the end of an excellent Alan Chater cross. Tabaka then made it 5-1 on 52 minutes before Blaby pulled one back on 62 minutes. Wisniewski then scored the goal of the game as he created a chance for himself on 73 minutes and unleashed a shot past Coffey from 30 yards after dummying a man. Maciek Wysoczanski then scored his first ever Polska goal on 83 minutes as the visitors eased comfortably through to the next round.
