LEICESTER POLSKA still await their first win since April after throwing away a lead against Magnas 2012. With Magna starting the better side, Polska gradually worked their way into the game, and Krogulec was fouled on 24 minutes after a Dziopa pass to give Polska a penalty. Maciek Wisnieswki duly despatched the spot kick on 25 minutes. Polska then stepped up a gear, and were arguably the better side in the first half. The bare 11 of Magna were reduced to 10 after their number 10 Pele picked up an injury just before half time after a tremendous tackle from Patrick Szczyplzyk. But this seemed to hinder Polska as they appeared to relax, and were punished when a needless free kick was crossed in on 67 minutes for Magna to head home the simplest of chances to make it 1-1. They then took the lead for the first time on 74 minutes after Polska gave away a cheap throw in from the edge of their own area. Polska responded by pushing Pzerwa upfront and a minute later he made the difference, setting up Wisniewski on 79 minutes who grabbed his second and Polska's equaliser. He may have had a penalty in the dying moments of the game, but Polska will be left to reflect on a 20 minute lapse in concentration that gave the momentum to Magna.
